The 208th Topical Symposium of the Magnetic Society of Japan / The 56th Topical Symposium of Magnetism

Development of Next Generation Materials for Spintronics

In spintronics, a number of products, such as magnetic head for HDD and non-volatile memory as typified by MgO and CoFeB, are produced and are put to practical use. However, a further requirement for the new products, i.e., high recording density and power saving, etc…, is always abundant and the development of new next generation materials are necessary. In this symposium, we invite nine outstanding lecturers for four subtopics, “perpendicular magnetization”, “SOT, spin hall and topological”, “voltage-driven dynamic magnetization, magnetoelectric effect and skyrmion” and “half-metallic Heusler alloys”. We expect your active participation.
