The 195th Topical Symposium of the Magnetic Society of Japan / The 29th Special Meetings on the Application of High Magnetic Fields

New Chemical, Physical Phenomena and Material Processing Clarified by High Magnetic Fields

With new manufacturing technologies for superconducting magnets, it has become possible to produce high magnetic field of 10 Tesla or more for applications in chemistry and physics. New magnetic phenomena: magnetic alignment of weak magnetic bodies, onset of chirality of inorganic materials, useful for processing functional material with improved quality, have been discovered. This symposium will serve as a useful reference for specialists and non-specialists interested in this exciting new area of magneto-science.
