The 137th Topical Symposium of the Magnetics Society of Japan

Recent Progress of SQUID Technology

SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device) magnetometer which shows the highest sensitivity mainly attracted attention as non-invasive medical diagnosis. In recent years, SQUID using the high temperature superconducting materials and its application range are extended to various technical fields. It can just be called the good example to which medical needs led progress of technology following MRI. In this symposium the latest technical trend and the future view of the SQUID technology are reported by representative researachers. We appreciate a participation of researcher and engineer in various fields.
