The 177th Topical Symposium of the Magnetics Society of Japan / The 42nd Topical Symposium on Nano-magnetics

Advanced Technology for Future Information Storage

The magnetic recording system such as HDD comes to do the kernel of the information storage technology, and is progressing to the field where the application is quite new on a digital information age. Moreover, the information storage is requested to take not only the magnetic recording technology but also other storage technologies, and to be discussed widely. In this symposium, we will focus on the advanced technology for future information storage. Though magnetic recording technologies are placed as a main stream, the symposium where new information storage technologies are able to be discussed actively is planned. It was postponed due to the earthquake though this symposium was scheduled on March 18.
