The 158th Topical Symposium of the Magnetic Society of Japan / The 24th Symposium of the Hybrid Recording

What is the Successive Technology in Perpendicular Magnetic Recording for Higher Recording Density, a Patterned Media and/or a Hybrid Recording?

Higher data transfer rate and larger capacity are strongly required in data storage devices, especially in hard disk drives (HDDs), to respond to ever-increasing information with higher quality and larger volume. In this topical symposium, we invited active researchers in the field of next generation HDDs. Recent topics will be presented from a perspective of post-perpendicular granular type of magnetic media. We very much look forward to your participation.
