The 224th Topical Symposium of the Magnetic Society of Japan

New developments of magnetocapacitance effects

In recent years, magnetocapacitance (MC) effect, in which the capacitance changes by magnetic field, has been observed in a wide range of materials and devices, such as multiferroic materials, spintronic devices, magnetic supercapacitors, and organic heterojunctions, and it has attracted much attention. Particularly, in the spintronic devices, MC effect has been found in magnetic tunnel junctions, magnetic nanogranular films, molecular spin valves, and magnetic single-electron transistors, and is one of the popular topics. In this symposium, we invite six outstanding lecturers in this research field. We look forward to your active participation.
