The 222nd Topical Symposium of the Magnetic Society of Japan
The 2nd Technical Meeting on Magnetic Sensors

Development of TMR sensor for product applications and
recent progress of next-generation magnetic field detection techniques

Development of TMR sensors for product applications using magnetic tunnel junctions is progressing due to dramatic improvement in sensor sensitivity. Recent progress of researches on various applications of TMR sensor will be introduced. Additionally, magnetic field detection technology based on the new principle will be presented. Magnetic field detection techniques, which utilize, Faraday effect, plasmon and spin-wave, are expected to be applied to magnetic sensor devices in the future and are also interesting from the scientific point of view.
