 The 133th Topical Symposium of The Magnetics Society of Japan, The 7th Symposium of the Hybrid Recording

The hybrid recording combined optical and magnetic recording technology towards daybreak 

The research activities in a hybrid recording technology which combines an optical recording technology and a magnetic recording technology is considered to become important in future ultra high density storage. There are so many issues to be clarified and engineering problems which should be solved, such as the research of stable materials, thermal stability at high density, tiny domain recording, the clarifiction of the material design technique including the cool down process and heat conductive character which is suitable for recording, temperature controlling, and the introduction of new medium process including nano-processing technology.
   In this symposium, researchers actively working in the fields of recording materials, magnetic head, optics, optical wave-guide, nano-processing, thermal control, simulation, tribology and magneto-optical recording will give present and discuss issue concerning future high density recording technologies. We look much forward in your participation who has interest in this field.
